Decades of field know-how, rebuilt around material science.
The team behind Muon Protection has worked in the motorcycle equipment industry since the early 1990s. Over the years, that experience grew into a deep understanding of production, materials and what riders actually expect from their gear.
In 2021 we brought it all together under the Muon Protection brand — a new structure focused on the design, material technology and engineering of protective equipment.
Our goal is not simply to meet the standards. It is to combine material science, engineering and real riding experience into protection that is lighter, more comfortable and more effective.
Effective protection doesn’t start with geometry. It starts with the chemistry of the material.

Impact performance is never defined by a single variable. Polymer chemistry, cell structure, density, hardness and temperature behaviour all work together — so we design them together.
Material Science
In-house R&D on viscoelastic polyurethane: formulations that absorb impact energy efficiently while staying flexible and comfortable in use.
Engineering & Design
Geometry, ventilation channels, wall thickness and mould design are developed for airflow, flexibility and series production — not impact alone.
Certification
Protectors are tested to the EN 1621 series and gloves to EN 13594:2015, then CE certified. Shore A hardness and thickness are tracked in quality control.
